Setelah Darwin menggagas dan menuangkan Teori Evolusi dalam buku The Crigin of Species, wibawa Allah kurang mendapat tempat terhormat, Teori ini telah menyangkal creatio ex nihilo sehingga menimbulkan perdebatan yang menghebohkan dan meragukan Alkitab dan kemahakuasaan-Nya Namun setelah diselidiki, buku tersebut mengandung kelemahan yang dibuktikan dengan kata "mungkin", "saya kira" yang berjumlah 360 kata dan "kita dapat menduga" yang berjumlah 900 lebih. Semua ini merupakan hipotesis yang keabsahannya masih dapat diragukan Frans Magnis Suseno pun berpendapat bahwa Darwin sangat tergesa-gesa mempublikasikannya.hanya karena sempat membaca naskah A.R Wallace.
